Responsibilities include directing and synchronizing all marketing efforts for the company, and ensuring the consistency and integrity of the brand positioning as depicted through all points of customer contact. This includes being responsible for product assortment planning and merchandising in all three direct channels including catalog, web, and at retail stores. The VP Marketing will direct creation and implementation of product strategy in support of the company brand and financial goals.
Customer acquisition is a key, so the VP of Marketing will oversee the creative team, branding, product PR, promotions, and web optimization. This individual will need to have people management and leadership skills and a general understanding of the creative process and creative people.
Our client is looking for 10+ years of marketing experience with a unique combination of brand and product marketing. Ideal candidates will have specific experience with direct to consumer marketing and an emphasis on customer acquisition in web, catalog, and retail channels. Leadership and people management experience a must. Bachelor’s degree or MBA preferred.
