Generator News: Generator Group Partners with Compli to Recruit Their New CTO

Jeremy_75x75_2

By Jeremy Barnaby

Generator had the opportunity to work with COMPLI and help them identify their new CTO Mark Lawler. Below is the press release but I have to say working with Ken Thrasher and Lon Leneve was a great experience.  They understood how critical it was to define exactly what they were looking for and take action on those candidates that demonstrated they might have the appropriate skills and knowledge.

I had a lot of fun on the search and the whole Technology Services team here at Generator helped introduce a great local talent to Ken and Lon.  This search was another example where one of our clients truly got to see the whole value of our SureHire model. It is because our retained model is paid on an hourly rate plus a smaller success fee Compli was able to hire a CTO at a rate of less then 2/3rds that of 'industry norm'.  This was possible because of a strong partnership with Compli, a great network, and solid selection process.

Do all searches end with this kind of savings for our clients?  Not always, as it is not common to experience the perfect set of circumstances that make this possible.  In other cases though our model protects our clients and we cap costs to a more industry standard 25% or 30% depending on level. Here is a quote from CEO Ken Thrasher on the search.

"The Generator Group was efficient, effective and great to work with on our CTO search. They helped Compli identify key candidates and hire their top candidate in a very short amount of time." Ken Thrasher, CEO

From Press Release:

"Compli has hired Mark Lawler as senior vice president and chief technology officer.

Lawler joins Portland-based Compli, provider of compliance management systems for auto dealerships, from Bala Cynwyd, Pa.-based Primavera Systems Inc., provider of project management software, where he was vice president of ProSight product strategy."
